Mark Harrison

Mark Harrison
President

Mark Harrison is the President of Certified Safety Training, the exclusive safety and compliance provider to the NFDA. Mark has delivered educational seminars to the following associations:

  • National Funeral Directors
  • Pennsylvania, Maryland, Delaware, Vermont, and Massachusetts, Veterinary Medical Association
  • Monument Builders of North America
  • National Funeral Directors and Morticians
  • Funeral Services Association of Canada

He is routinely refining and enhancing his approach and believes that education is a process best refined over time.

Mark holds a bachelor's degree from Dickinson College and a master’s degree from Montclair State University.

Dan Harrison

Dan Harrison
OSHA Director

Dan Harrison is a certified safety professional (CSP). The CSP is the benchmark certification in the safety field. He has over 25 years of experience as a safety trainer. He provided all safety training for 18 consecutive New York State Hazard Abatement Board (NYSHAB) grants, and has always met the NYSHAB's high standards for substantive and engaging safety training and encourages employees' input in training. Dan has extensive experience training individuals with limited formal education as well as those who have non-technical backgrounds. 

Dan's educational achievements are as follows:

  • Graduate fellowship at Oxford University for doctoral studies
  • State University of New York at Binghamton, all courses completed for Ph.D.
  • State University of New York at Oswego, M.A.
  • St. Lawrence University, B.S.

Ebone Dukes

Ebonē Dukes
FTC Advisor

Ebonē Dukes has nearly two decades of funeral service experience and is an expert in the FTC Funeral Rule. Ebonē brings extensive experience in education and compliance to Certified Safety Training where she is continuing her work growing the funeral service industry. Her experience and credential include:

  • Program Director for Northwest Mississippi Funeral Service Program
  • National Funeral Directors Association’s inaugural class of the National Emerging
  • Leaders Program Graduate
  • Certified Funeral Service Practitioner
  • Master’s in Business Administration

Paige Chartier

Paige Chartier
Compliance Manager

Paige Chartier brings both funeral service and real-world experience to CST as the Education and Administrative Lead. With over 10 years of service work (funeral, education, and otherwise), Paige knows how to lend a hand when someone is in need. With a passion for learning, she is continually helping with CST’s Continuing Education program, the creation of CST’s educational video series, and establishing new and relevant OSHA training courses for a variety of industries. She firmly believes that learning and education should not end when formal schooling is over, and that everyone should try to stay informed and up to date in their field of work and in real life.

Paige holds a bachelor’s degree in Anthropology and English from Colorado State University, an associate’s degree in Mortuary Science from Arapahoe Community College, and is nationally certified by the Funeral Service Examining Boards. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, writing, cooking, watching horror movies (recommendations are welcome), and gaming.
