Veterinary Preventing Cat Bites & Scratches

This course is designed for veterinary professionals that work directly with cats. Working with cats can be and often is extremely rewarding as you get to be a voice for the voiceless. However, those rewards come with intense risk. Veterinary professionals can play an active role in their own safety, and, with proper training and implementation of workplace controls, can help promote the safety of patients, patient families, and all others at the clinic. Within this course we will discuss what often leads to a cat biting or scratching, feline body language, and how to prevent such injuries within the veterinary field.
