Gravesite Vault Safety: CST Announces New Partnership with the NCBVA
Share
Gravesite vault safety is one of the most critical—yet often overlooked—components of cemetery operations. Whether during vault installation, graveside setup, transport, or warehouse handling, every step involves heavy equipment, shifting loads, and dynamic site conditions. Certified Safety Training (CST) is proud to announce a new partnership with the National Concrete Burial Vault Association (NCBVA) designed to elevate safety standards across the industry.
This collaboration brings together CST’s advanced digital safety training platform with the NCBVA’s industry leadership to deliver dedicated, modernized training tailored to vault manufacturers and installers.
Three New Courses Focused on Vault Safety
As part of the partnership, CST will release a series of specialized online courses built specifically for the burial vault profession:
-
Grave Site Safety Protocols and Best Practices
A practical guide to working safely at the gravesite, covering staging, equipment operation, environmental hazards, and proper vault installation practices. -
Loading and Cargo Securing Procedures
Focused on preventing load-shift incidents, proper tie-down methods, safe use of lifting equipment, and DOT-aligned cargo securement essentials for vault transport. -
Warehouse and Production Safety Standards
Covering lockout/tagout, concrete production hazards, material handling, PPE, ergonomics, and facility safety procedures unique to vault manufacturing environments.
Together, these courses will form the most comprehensive gravesite vault safety training program.
